Texas Image Sand Volleyball
Come join us to train and play sand volleyball on the first and only indoor sand courts in Texas!
Texas Image Volleyball is proud to announce the 3rd summer of our Sand Volleyball program. This program is a great way for players to further develop their volleyball skills. Each practice will include: ball control, game strategy, team play, a strong emphasis on fundamental skills, and strength and conditioning.
The cost for Texas Image Sand is $595.00. A down payment of $250.00 is due when you register, followed by a final payment of $345.00 due by June 5th, 2010.

May 10th - June 2nd: Practice Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 - 7:30pm with Conditioning from 7:30 - 8:00pm
June 7th - July 28th: Practice Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:00 - 5:00pm with Conditioning from 5:00 - 5:30pm or Practice Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30 - 7:30pm with Conditioning from 7:30 - 8:00pm

The sand courts are inside the building on the south side.
Practice and conditioning times will be announced soon.
Tournament fees are not included and will cost around $30 per individual depending on the tournament entry fee. Players pick the tournaments they wish to play in. Players may play with the same partner all summer or switch up their teams for each tournament. Players may sign up as individuals or as a team (2). Practices will consist of 8 to 10 players, trained by a Texas Image Sand Volleyball Coach, twice a week with conditioning included.
1) How do the players get a partner to play with?
Answer: They can pick a partner on their own or, if they don't have one, they will be able to choose or be paired up with others that do not have a partner yet.
2) When do the players need to know who there partner is? Answer: They will need to know the week prior to the tournament that they will be playing in. The players will need to tell their coaches so the coaches can keep a record. We do this so that we can ensure everyone will have a partner. The player can pick any other player from the Texas Image Sand Program, same age or not. If one player is older than the other the pair will have to play up to the older player's age group.
3) What if one player gets hurt or gets sick and they are scheduled for a tournament? Does the pair have to quit the tournament? Answer: No, the healthy player can still play as long as we can find a partner for them. However if that is not possible then the healthy player may have to forfeit the rest of the tournament unless something else can be worked out.
4) How are tryouts going to be this year? Answer: There are no tryouts. Anyone that wants to play sand volleyball can play. If you already have a partner you can play with them and if you do not we will pair you with someone.

6) What should be worn to practices? Answer: Uniform bottoms must have a fabric minimum length of 7" at the hip. Uniform tops, sports bras, or bathing suit tops must be accompanied with a tank top or t-shirt. Tankinis are acceptable.
